LiLBxQt Posted May 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Do you think RCCL would care if I had one bottle of alcohol in bubblewrap in my checked luggage? By the looks of other posts on this, I kind of think they would leave me alone and worry about others who pack whole suitcases filled with alcohol. Any opinions?? & Don't anyone start with the whole ethical reason/laws of RCCL b/c I've read them a million times & just don't care to hear them anymore UnTiL BeRmUdA!!! Zamt Posted May 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2004 I doubt they would care. If you're worried about it, get a collapseable water bottle and put the booze in there. I did. Also, the first night there is a special on four bottles of rum or vodka for $25, with only one corkage fee applied, for a total of only $35. We decided to skip "smuggling" next time and just get the special. Much easier and less worry. 4/24/04, Explorer of the Seas, Western Carribean

MAXCAT Posted May 6, 2004 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2004 Why would you want to bring one bottle of booze on board? I could possibly understand if it was a $100 bottle of something...but just one bottle of liquer seems a little silly to MAXCAT... LiLBxQt Posted May 6, 2004 Author #10 Share Posted May 6, 2004 1 bottle in each suitcase for the 2 of us Only bringing it to drink in the room & don't plan on being in the room that much. Only one of us is the real booze drinker; I prefer beer so.... Figured we're gonna be in bars/clubs around the island at night, and will probably do most of the drinking there UnTiL BeRmUdA!!! Nitra Posted May 6, 2004 #12 Share Posted May 6, 2004 If it does not come in a plastic bottle, I use those big water bottles. I have even used those and put clear booze, like bacardi limon in them and carried them on in my carry on luggage and they never noticed. Mark_K Posted May 6, 2004 #13 Share Posted May 6, 2004 LiLBxQt, The answer to the question you asked "will they care?" is - Yes, they will care.
