What's the weather like?

 

Anything from blazing sun to a hurricane. If it's the former, it'll be beautiful on the beach and the sea will still be warm. If it's the latter, it'll be too cold to swim because the cruise will have been rerouted to New England and Canada.

One of the best things about cruising to Bermuda in October is that you may start out wearing a sweater or light jacket upon embarkation then wind up in shorts and t-shirts the next day at sea.

 

During our time in Bermuda in October, the ocean water temp was comfortable and there was still plenty to do. :)

Been to Bermuda the last three octobers in a row and weather was really beatiful each time. For us it was perfect swimming weather and the water temps were great.

The temperature and the water was warm at the end of October 2007.

 

I am actually disappointed that HAL is not sailing to Bermuda that late in October, I would love to go again.

I was in Bermuda October 6-11 in 2007 and it was glorious weather, with very warm waters at the beach. I would say go for it...

We have gone 3 times Columbus Day week and the weather has been beautiful. Water was plenty warm enough for swimming.
