What's the best way to upgrade?

We booked our first cruise on the NAvigator, Sept. 11 - online through RCCL - for our honeymoon. We have a promenade stateroom because at the time it didn't seem to make sense to pay so much extra for a larger room. Now after reading all the reviews on here - I think I would like to upgrade our suite as a surprise for my new husband. Any suggestions on the best and cheapest way to do this? Any secrets out there?

Call RCCL directly, their number is on teh website and tell them what you would like to do and they will help you out.

If you booked your cruise thru a travel agent or on line RCCL won't do anything for you. They will refer you to your booking agent.

Deal with whomever you booked thru.

Another way to do it is to transfer your booking to a on-line cruise broker which might also save you some money.

I booked through the RCCL website - when I checked the prices on their website, they had actually gone up! But when I checked them on icruise.com, they went down, so now I am totally confused!

The reason that RCCI's prices and a discount online cruise agent are different is because RCCI doesnt discount. Try cruisequick. Select the exact cabin category and cabin that you want. You can view available cabins using iCruise. If the price is right, you can easily transfer your existing booking with RCCI to cruisequick. Your deposit will go towards your new cabin with no hastle. Prices for September may go down as you get closer to the date. I would watch the prices and then call RCCL to see about getting a balcony. No honeymoon should be without one.
