Dockyard ? on Sunday Bus Schedule

Does anyone know the earliest I can catch a bus to go to Horseshoe from the Dockyard, on a Sunday/Holiday schedule?

 

I'm wondering about the Bermuda Labour Day schedule. Any info on this day would be helpful.

On the Sunday/holiday schedule, the first bus to leave the Dockyard is 10:50AM. The last bus that returns to the Dockyard leaves Hamilton at 4:30PM. Arrives at Horseshoe Bay 20 – 25 minutes after leaving Hamilton.

I've heard that Bermuda runs "special" buses to Horseshoe Bay with no stops just for cruise passengers. Maybe someone who has been there recently can confirm.

We will be in Bermuda (Dockyard) for the day on Nov 1st which is a Sunday. If the buses don't start until 10:50am, should we rent scooters? We are only in Bermuda for the day and I am worried that the whole ship will be waiting for the first bus. I am just trying to figure out how to not waste the day waiting for buses.

 

Is there as much traffic on the road on Sunday's if we do consider renting scooters as I have read lots about accidents and the traffic.

 

We were thinking of renting a motor boat for 4 hours but it might be too cold and then we really still don't get to see the real Bermuda.

 

Any suggestions? Thanks very much for any assistance.
