In-room safes on Sovereign?

Does anyone know if the deck 4 inside cabins on SOS have in-room safes. I know the lowest decks do not, but don't know about deck 4. Thanx.

Don't know about the SOS specifically, but we've been on Deck 4 our last two cruises on the Enchantment and the Grandeur with in-room safes both times.

We have been on sovereign twice. Once on deck 3 and once on deck 5 both times an inside cabin and there were not any safes.

Parrothead has it right. I've been on Deck Six (no safe) and both decks nine and ten (with safes).

Until the major retrofit (November) that's probably the way it will stay for now.

I must be mistaken about the SOS, obviously. I thought the room safe retrofit was already finished on all the ships.

Anyway, the Splendour, Enchantment, and the Grandeur use credit card swipes. However, someone suggested using a grocery store "club" card, or some non-credit card, which is a good idea.

Just got off the Sovereign on May 10th. On deck 4 - no safe! (darn!)

There are not any safes, DH and I were on deck 7 and no safes there either. So we got a safety deposit box once we boarded. They are free of use at the Purser's desk. But, "while they last" type of deal. There are not enough for every cabin. It was easy for us to get to our box.
