Oceania Cruises Alcohol Policy

The regular Oceania crowd says this policy is just for show, you can really bring anything and everything on board at any port. Wonder if that is true?

I have brought up to a case of wine aboard with no problems. I'd much rather drink good wine and pay the corkage fee than pay much higher charges for lesser wine. I also know people who have brought aboard several bottles of spirits. Still I wouldn't try to bring several cases on.

So is this a NEW policy or just the same one where they look the other way :confused:

The FAQ do not say NO alcohol as the CC states

Yes, they state they reserve the right but I have never seen it exercised as long as one does not go crazy.

Just cruised in August on Riviera and several other cruises with O. We always bring a bottle of Vodka and a bottle of Rum (pick them up at duty free in the airport). They never took them.
