Where on the ship do you go to upgrade or can you do it before boarding?

My agent at HAL was able to tell me everything before we booked. Since we book it for the upgrade, I don't want to book it unless I know.

How do you upgrade to Elite on the ship? Is there a specific place, or do you ask the bartender directly?

We were on the AFT on deck 5 in September, and didn't feel any vibration. We were sailing Alaska, not sure if that has anything to do with it. But it was AWESOME. Have the same cabin booked for 2025.

We reserved one for our upcoming cruise in the assumption it was adults only. If this is not the case, I will be very disappointed. I wonder if they would refund us if they allow kids now, and they were running around. Fingers crossed this is not the case.

Oh no....we reserved one for the first time in March. I have a confirmation email, but no one was cc'd on ours. Now I'm panicking.... Guess I'll put this on my list on Monday to give them a call to confirm.....

Yep, trying to book a cruise and every time I get to the deposit...It tells me technical difficulties, try again later.

We are used to cruising out of Florida and have our favorites at all the ports, but Seattle is new to us. We are flying in a day early in the AM and want to stay closer to the port and downtown to do a bit of sight seeing. I have narrowed it down to two hotels The Mediterranean and Homewood Suites. Anyone have any reason to stay at one over the other, or any feedback? Thank you in advance!

We just booked our first ever Holland America cruise and our first cruise to Alaska. I know absolutely nothing about the port in Seattle or how to even figure out what hotel to stay in. We would only be coming in the day before, so the closer to the port the better. Does anyone have any suggestions? Greatly appreciated!
