I'd love to hear who you have on board for enrichment and if they plan to stay on for the December 22 to Hawaii. Also, please report on your mattress 🤞
Not sure, but it was clear it was a gift card. On board GS could see it was refundable, all CS reps could see it too. Just couldn't get the refund approved by anyone with authority.
I did not have anything as complex as your situation and Princess messed it up. I had $800 in non refundable credit. At the beginning of the cruise, I added a $500 gift card (which was apparently my mistake). Throughout the cruise, they depleted the refundable credit first, leaving me with non refundable credit at the end of my cruise. Multiple people at guest services on board told me this would be fixed, but it was not. It's been over 4 months and it's has still not been resolved. So good luck.
I have a related question, but involves possible increase of port fees. Our tender port (for which I believe we paid no fees) was cancelled and Princess has substituted a port day. Will they charge passengers any additional fee for the extra port day?
I am traveling with a friend in a shared cabin. Is it possible to have separate accounts for each person/medallion? I would just rather have us each pay our own. I had trouble with my folio on my last cruise and it's still not resolved after 3 months, so I'm a little worried about it for this next cruise.
I think it depends on scheduling needs, not actual distance. On my RT Hawaii-LA, it was 5 days there and 5 days back. On my upcoming RT Hawaii-SF, it's 4 days there, 5.5 days back to Ensenada, then 1 whole day back to SF.
I booked my 16 year old in a cabin by himself since we needed 3 cabins and only had 2 adults. I also could not complete the pre-boarding info until I checked in at the port.
My kids didn't use the app on board, so I can't comment on that. However, it was a bit of a challenge to link their medallions so that I could "track" them on board. Make sure to find and visit the "OceanNow" booth if you want to do this.
On my cruise, I was told that there was no way to limit the kids charges to the account. This is something that you may just have to trust them with. I suppose you could make them return something they bought, but that wouldn't work out with specialty foods or games.
Wow, I bit down on a bread roll in the MDR on my cruise and cracked my molar. It didn't hurt, so I just went home and went to my dentist a week later. I did have to have a crown, but never even thought to file a claim on my travel insurance.
