Being Elite with Celebritys Captains Club, We went on a Carnival Celebration Cruise this winter. Except for the food (in our opinion ), celebrity is indeed one class above. Surprisingly the food on Carnival was much more our taste. Celebrity has many pay options but is limited when it comes to included venues. I also miss the Bistro on 5 when it was new on Solstice or the Porch before becoming a Seafood Restaurant. Although most of it was comfort food on Carnival , it tasted great and was nicely designed with its own venues. Main dining room food was much better for us than any Celebrity Cruise in the past years. However, service and staff was non existent, at best. With two small kids we thought Carnival might me the preferred choice from now on. However, I felt Celebrity and the vibe on board is still more family friendly, despite the whistles & bells on Celebration. Conclusion, we booked another Silhouette Cruise and looking forward to being back on X. We might consider Carnival again, but whatever we try to get some new impressions, we always come back and know the value of a Celebrity Cruise. It is generous, modern yet classy, stylish, elegant and relaxing. And all that often for a competitive price.

Sorry for being off topic. I would love to see Concierge Class having room service included again. It would definitely bring an upscale and real benefit to this category.

Hello everybody, Just curious about your experience. For the second time in a row, we lost a piece of luggage post cruise. Last November on Harmony of the seas in Lauderdale (forgot it in Terminal), last month on Constellation in Ravenna.(taken by other guest and brought back 2h later). I certainly filled out a claim in terminal und online. Now and then no luck to get our bags. It seems, since there is no pressure on the cruise line, compared to airlines, to reimburse people if luggage is not found, there is really no effort at all to find your lost luggage.

Hello everybody, We are looking forward coming back to Carnival after 16 years. With 2 kids now I am curious about the bed arrangement with 4 in a standard balcony. Is it a pullout sofa bed we can use or a bunk bed? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Thanks. It just says pending and that "the time period to modify or cancel has passed". Sailaway is on Monday on Constellation.

A little off topic: cruise departs Monday, offer is still "pending" in our case.
