mdaviswv Posted August 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 24, 2017 Hi Diana and Belle. I'm happy to report I'm down two for a change. Goal still looking impossible but if I can at least knock a chunk out of it I'll be happy. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cruises42 Posted August 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2017 I finally had the nerve to weigh myself after our Alaska cruise and 2 weeks of post cruise eating. I gained 8 lbs.
mdaviswv Posted August 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2017 I know a number like that is a shock to the system after a cruise, but in reality it seems to come off pretty fast. At least that's been my perspective. I'm sure Alaska was worth putting in a little extra effort for a few weeks! retiring soon Posted August 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2017 Hi all! Belle ~ nice ditty & loss!:D cruises42 ~ Alaska is worth the pounds & they do seem to come off easier after a cruise for some reason. I'm down 0.6 lbs from the lowest weight I recorded last week so then much more from the higher one.;) I'm being pretty good about not eating after supper so think that's what's helping. Have a nice weekend. ~ Jo ~ :)

caohnmtx Posted August 26, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 26, 2017 I set a goal to lose 20 by the time I get on the plane. I got quite discouraged after the first couple of weeks and not seeing any lower numbers on the scale after working so hard and being so good in diet and exercise. Thursday I stepped on the scale for the first time in a week (I was being stupid and checking it everyday) but to my suprise I had shed 4! WooHoo! 11 weeks until I get on that plane and 12 till the ship! I GOT THIS!

renjrusa Posted August 26, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 26, 2017 Hi everyone.. Hope you all had a good week. I am at the same weight again.. Not gaining is a good thing but since I am now in such good shape and being careful with what I eat thought I would see more weight come off.. shootr Posted August 29, 2017 #18 Share Posted August 29, 2017 By the skin of my teeth... Off to Honolulu tomorrow and made goal -1! Company Training went well. All the equipment in the fitness room at the hotel was broken, so wound up grabbing a dumbbell and walking the area - but man, humidity - you all can keep it! Heck of a time trying to get enough water down. Been eating good still, not too many cravings, and the best part: I'm back to the last loop on my belt, lol [emoji1303]. I can't imagine how cool it would be to take a cruise like yours Belle, that sounds so awesome. Welp, probably won't be back until next week, but glad to hear everyone's stories and challenges and successes. See ya'!

Belle Posted September 4, 2017 Author #24 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Delliemd I love Hawaii and Hawaii cruises. I've done many cruises to Hawaii and a few land trips. Now just do Hawaii cruises. First thing you have to like sea days, many days going coming back, I like them. Lots of things going on on the ship. They will a Hawaiian couple teaching classes. You visit four islands only. So only a day in each. It's enough for me, some wish they had more time. Only you can decide. You can go explore on your, hoho buses, regular buses, walking on your own or take ship tours. When people say but you only get one day..then I say yes one day only but I'm there I've seen the town, city, country met the people. While those who don't want one day, stay home and see nothing or meet new people or enjoy other parts of the states or world. GO Enjoy!
