Cab fare from FLL to cruise terminal with a stop at Publix

I understand the cab fare from airport to Port Everglades is about $15 - $20. How much extra will they charge if I ask them to stop at Publix to pick up some bottled water? Do they sell bottled water at the cruise terminal? I just need a few bottles and don't know if it is worthwhile to make an extra stop at the Publix.

If you really need bottled water you could always buy a couple of bottles at the airport

by the time you stop at a store any $ savings are gone

Or just take a refillable sports bottle & fill it at the buffet

Since the meter will run, just depends on how fast you move. ;)

Personally, I'd just buy one on board and then pick up more if you want while at ports. Or keep refilling onboard.

You can use Uber and get a free ride to the hotel(if its your first time? and the Pier should be less than a cab too. Just use the code haroldh377ue in the promo tab

Some of the cruiselines have stopped allowing any bottled water or bottled soft drinks to be brought onboard by passengers. So be sure to check with your cruiseline before you buy water. I usually buy one bottle on board and fill it in the sink and refrigerate overnight. It's good filtered water.
