angelmomma530 Posted June 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2016 What is your favorite cruise line + ship for med cruises?
CruiserBruce Posted June 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2016 First of all, Med cruises are usually very port intensive, thus the ship has somewhat less impact. Second, my fav ship doesn't impact you at all. If you have a favorite cruise line in the US, that would be the first one to look at. The product will be very similar. Third, the same ships aren't in Europe every year. Cruise lines move them around. For example, HAL (our favorite cruise line) used to have N. Amsterdam, Noordam and Eurodam in Europe, all ships we have sailed and like. Now those ships are Alaska, replaced by Zuiderdam, Oosterdam and Koningsdam in Europe, ships we haven't sailed, although we have Koningsdam scheduled for next March. Rare mskaufman Posted June 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2016 My favorite ship in the Med is the one that takes me where I want to go at a price I am willing to pay. Have cruise Celebrity, Princess and Royal in Europe. This year HAL.
GrJ Berkshire Posted June 23, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2016 REGENT You try the rest but then settle for the best. Quality, size, all inclusive, no class system, open seating, suite size, walk in closets, dignified. Hard to top, you get what you pay for. fnewman Posted June 28, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 28, 2016 The Viking Star, Sea, etc. are quickly becoming the ships of choice for experienced travelers (no, I don't work for Viking - just giving credit where due!)
