Recommend a book

I booked this cruise in March last year..... I leave in 16 days..... I should know more than I do....can someone recommend a guide book..... Cruise is Buenos Aires to Valparaiso; pre cruise Rio and Iguazu Falls and post cruise Machu Picchu.

Not a guide book, but this is an enjoyable read that will illuminate your voyage around Cape Horn.

Not a guide book but we (group of 4) just returned today from a 31 day LA to Rio cruise around the Horn and all read and greatly enjoyed Rounding the Horn by Dallas Murphy. It gave us a very healthy appreciation for everything from the indigenous peoples to the European explorers to the weather. http://dallasmurphy.com/?page_id=196

Bruce Chatwin's In Patagonia is a terrific, prize-winning book. Available in dead tree, Kindle.

This is not a guidebook but I strongly recommend it for the Around the Horn cruise.
