someotherguy Posted January 9, 2017 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2017 Not a guide book, but this is an enjoyable read that will illuminate your voyage around Cape Horn. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009IU4YUU There are museums about the Yamana people in Ushuaia and Punta Arenas. capriccio Posted January 9, 2017 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2017 (edited) Not a guide book but we (group of 4) just returned today from a 31 day LA to Rio cruise around the Horn and all read and greatly enjoyed Rounding the Horn by Dallas Murphy. It gave us a very healthy appreciation for everything from the indigenous peoples to the European explorers to the weather. http://dallasmurphy.com/?page_id=196 someotherguy - just realized that is the book you recommended too!
