Transfers are airport to hotel & hotel to ship

if you booked the package as Lou mentioned above

After the cruise you are on your own unless you pay for the transfers

Taxis are usually cheaper depending on your port ;)

Lyn is right taxis are always cheaper as are the hotels if you book them yourselves.

True, but those Oceania arrangements can be a Godsend for the "I can't be bothered with the details" set, who are a larger segment than many realize.

Another thought, in every instance where we've booked our Hotel through Oceania, the transfer that was offered was via private car, and it was waiting as we exited the airport with our luggage.

LOL, you must be talking about Miami in Winter.

If the Cruise is departing from a more exotic port, and you aren't just doing the standard overnight before the cruise, it's likely to be just the Oceania Rep and you at the Airport....particularly if you're sailing an R ship ;)

Try it, you'll like it!

Actually it was our 1st cruise with O back in 2004

We just finished dealing with SIL estate & could not be bothered checking things out & just needed to get away asap

We booked 2 nights in London (close to $900 for the deal)

At the airport, our names were not on the list ..the rep put us on a mini van with another couple going to another hotel

From the hotel to Dover we were on a big bus

First & last time to book Oceania hotel package ;)

Live & learn
