Can I put money on a Room Key?

I want to put about 50 bucks on my kids room key but not give them complete access to my credit card. Is that possible?

You can have reception put a limit on their room key daily or a total.

Yes...you can. Go to customer service, and they will handle it.

May I suggest that you put 5 ten dollar bills on it. If you put quarters they will probably fall over. Also a single 50 dollar bill is much easier to lose.

Unless something has changed very recently, with NCL, you can't.

Only way to limit the spending is:

1) prepay daily service charges before the cruise (otherwise the charge is made daily from the deposited cash) and

2) set up individual cash accounts for those passengers that should have the "limit" - the limit is the amount deposited in cash to that account.

But yes, it can be done and all passengers in the cabin do not need to have the same payment method and portfolio.
