hiring shuttle from mia to hotel

they are 11 of us coming in feb 14 need transportation to hotel and next day to ship and back to airport thinking of hiring a shuttle anyone done this and who did you use

American Shuttle has the concession inside MIA airport and you can reserve/get a quote on-line. Larry's Limos is often suggested on these boards for Miami service.

What hotel? :confused: Taxi from MIA to most downtown hotels will run about $25-27+tip for the cab; for 11 and bags (especially if any in your group pack like my wife :o), three cabs and less than $100 total should be cheaper than any car/shuttle service.

From downtown hotels to POM is about a $12+tip cab ride -- 3 cabs and about $40 should get all of your to the port. Good luck! :)

In the past we had no problem getting a minivan taxi and comfortably fit 6 people in it with luggage (2 men and 4 woman :eek:). If you're only travelling within Miami that may be the way to go. It didn't cost anymore than taxi car.
