Port Canaveral Cruise Parking Payment Changes

Hi all,

I have not been on here in a while and this may have already been posted, but I came across a change for the parking at Port Canaveral starting December 1, 2014. Just an FYI, especially for those who pay by cash, like we do, for our cruise. This is from Port Canaveral website.

CRUISE PARKING PAYMENT CHANGES

Effective December 1, 2014, only credit cards will be accepted for cruise parking

And you will pay for 8 days on a 7 day cruise.....

Head out to the Florida Departures Board for more info but there's a great park and cruise lot with shuttles and secured parking just a short shuttle ride from the pier on the other side of the causeway, off the Expressway. http://www.parkcruise.com/

$7.99 per day. I think they still have a small discount for pre reservations/on line payment.

Good info, but especially at Port Canaveral there is little reason to park there. Secured easy off site parking is available.

I think the big offsite parking also charges for 8 days. My quote certainly reflected that.

It is because some of the workers in the ticket booths had been skimming cash.

On a B2B you only pay for the first leg.

Yes, you're absolutely correct, but it's still WAY less money than parking at the pier. They offer a military discount as well, and also every fifth time you park is FREE! I've taken advantage of both of these perks, and saved a boatload of money! ;) I'm referring to Park-n-Cruise.
