Poker on the splendor

They also have two Texas Hold'Em tables with real dealers, but you play against the dealer, not against the other players at the table. Good hands pay odds, and you can even win with a losing hand (e.g., you have a flush and the dealer has full house). Royal Flush pays 500-1. I have played this game for four cruises, and only won one trip. But I've scored free cruises by spending enough time gambling, so overall I am very happy!

Sorry, this is not poker in the traditional sense. Those "silly" games like 3 card poker, Caribbean stud, and Let it Ride are house games. Although the poker is electronic, I played every night. You will find most of the same players and we all knew each other's names. The rake is pretty big, about 10%.
