Has anyone ever been here? We are just now trying to get excursions booked for all our stops.... wondering whose been? How much? How did you book? What there is to do?

We were just there last Friday. You book with their website:

http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/

Cost was $55 per person, which includes beach chairs, shade, unlimited drinks, and made to order lunch.

You must also provide your own transportation. Taxis from the International Pier (Royal's typical docking pier) were $16 one-way for 1-4 people and $32 one-way for 5-8 people.

We've been and enjoyed it. Booked on our own and honestly don't remember the cost. THere is a beach with chairs and umbrellas, and you have a server who will bring you complimentary chip and salsa/guac, as well as drinks and lunch. There is also a huge hot tub, can't remember if there was a swimming pool or not. The food and service were good, and we'd go back again.

Prices, things to do and pictures can be found on their website http://www.cozumelnachicocom.com/

We've been twice and have booked to go again later in the year. It's a great spot which is never crowded because they limit the number of people they let in. It's not the place for a party crowd - no loud music, no inflatables etc. The service is excellent, the drinks are plentiful and the food is great.

Highly recommended and we think it's really good value.

Oh, the Wifi is rubbish though.

Thanks for such a quick response.. a few questions.... is this on a beach or by a pool? Could you please be specific on unlimited drinks? Alcohol? Lunch is included? Is there variety, as we have kids that can be picky? How long are you there for?

It's on a really nice stretch of sandy beach but there's also a really big pool with a swim-up bar. You can see pictures on the website.

Google nachi cocom menu in google images and you'll see what's included - drinks and food https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=nachi+cocom+beach+menu&espv=2&biw=1152&bih=749&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=_EgYVNDwJ4nA7AanuICYCg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg

Cocktails, beers, soft drinks, all included and there are plenty of simple choices of food for kids. You're there for as long as you want - the booking is for a full day

Anyway to find a less expensive tranportation? $32 seems expensive one way... we will have 6-8 people... walk there or to far?

All taxis have set prices per person as far as I'm aware - it's much too far to walk.

We were there a couple of years ago. They come around with floating mats you can rent for the day $7 per day which make great lounge chair cushion. We also did the massage on the beach which I will do again when we are there again in December.

As soon as we booked our cruise it was the first excursion we booked. Can't wait to go back. We loved the food.

Maybe I was not clear, but the $32 is the total for the taxi. So if you put 8 people in the taxi, it's $4 per person, one-way.

When we went there a couple of years ago, they mentioned that each person was limited to 2 appetizers, one entree, and one dessert. You could order one or more of these any time during your stay.

This last time, they did not mention a limit, so I don't know if the limits are the same.

If you check their website, you can find an email and ask them yourself about their food policy.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and our server (Carlos-he's great!!), did say it was for one appetizer, one entree, one dessert per person......but he brought us whatever we wanted all day long. Since there was only two of us that might make a difference but the drinks were flowing all day.....:p.

Tried a Dirty Monkey for the first time.....YUMMO!!!!

We always tip our server well as we leave because they do such a great job.

We will definately go back every time we visit Coz!!!!

Would like info on this or other resorts in the area that offer "beach" days. Trying to convince wife to book something not through the ship.

I'm going to Nachi probably a month after you are there, but speaking of beach days and through the ship, we found the beach day at Playa Mia through the ship disappointing so we are trying Nachi this time.

Bill, we are seriously considering the cruise line excursion to Playa Mia for a large group next year, mostly because of the ease of transport. What didn't you like about it?

We love Nachi - have been more than five times. We find it's a better value (and fit) for adults. We like that it's quiet and smallish. The service is excellent! The pool is small and the beach is nice but...Our kids like Paradise Beach better - not all inclusive- pay as you go. Chairs 3 pp and the water toys are 12 pp- if you like water tramps, ice burg etc. The kids do that and I just get a chair. Sea kayaks included. Drinks and food are not expensive. Clean pool, nice beach and free wifi at the restaurant. We spend a lot less money than Nachi and the kids like it better. It can get crowded though. But not as crowded as mr sanchos or playa Mia which are sometimes a bit loud and crowded for our tastes. You can't go wrong with Nachi.....
