Tower room at Hilton Marina or regular room at Embassy Suites (17th st)

I need one night precruise in April. Hilton Marina Tower room at $189 or Embassy Suites at $199.

Which would you choose and why? Thanks.

Well, depends on your priorities. If seeing the ships in port is important to you, Hilton Marina is better at that.

Embassy Suites comes with free breakfast and manager's reception (apps and drinks). If that is important to you...

I want/need to do some pre-cruise shopping, ES is more convenient to surrounding stores and restaurants. Hilton is next to water taxi stop.

For us it is , no hesitation, Embassy suites. Shopping mall right behind ( with Total wine) , nice included breakfast ,nice free happy hour and we each time got a room with a view of the ships. Did not like service at Hilton Marina. We also relax by the pool in a nice decor.

Embassy Suites is in a more convenient location to stores and restaurants and gives you more for the money. It has more indoor space.

Hilton Marina offers better views and a more resort-like pool with nice/big tiki bar. It has more outdoor space.

I prefer Embassy Suites; great location, nice hotel, good breakfast and convenience to restaurants and to stores.

I agree with royalcruz, that Hilton Marina is more resort like with its outdoor space and it will have been views.

If you are staying one night and arriving later in the day I would probably just go with ES.
