What kind of a bird is he?

It's a Kookaburra (I think I spelled that right). I don't remember if we saw any "in the wild" but we did see some in a couple of zoos.

Egret came to visit and flew across the pond when I walked down. Water was clear so I tried to photograph him and his reflection.

Just bought a new Canon D2i and went out the first night I got it, just to see how well it would do in a night time setting. Here I didnt even adjust any settings. It was on the preset night time setting. Just turned the camera on and clicked away.

This wreath was on a front door with just a porch light on. I am amazed at how well it shows up. Think I will be VERY happy with this camera.

Cant wait to use it in 6 days on my cruise!!
