Will definitely come back and update. I'm nervous about the Dynamic Dining as I am travelling with a pretty large group and trying to figure out how we will all get seated together will be interesting.

Megville this thread may help you with info on how to get your group signed up for Dynamic Dining:

Oasis Bars #3 -Viking Crown, Boleros

The Viking Crown is the bar with the best view, not including the outside Pool Bars of course. You can't get any better than those large wrap around windows.

And when it comes to the club/bar that is jumping the most every night the Oscar goes to Boleros. Salsa, Salsa, Salsa BABEE! Great beats from the live band and the dance floor is always packed to capacity!

Thanks cruiser Radio for these pics.

This place was HOPPIN' and POPPIN' every night!

Oasis Wine and Champagne list #1 of 4

Oasis has a pretty extensive wine list. If you really want to check out the various wines you should look into booking Vintages. It is located in Central Park. You can prebook or wait till you board. Not sure if they do this on every cruise but a couple times on our cruise they ran specials. I suspect it may have been low reservations that were the cause. At Vintages you will get to try various wine parings and they also serve tapas.

Oasis Wine list #4 of 4

so this is the end of the wine list...Woo!! quite extensive...Right?...

I saw quite a few I would like to try..How bout you? Do you find that your tastes lend to a certain region or just a certain type...I like when they have the wine tasting events on board as I get to try some that I wouldn't think of trying...

Thanks CC cruiser megacruiser

More Oasis Bars: You really can't go very far without seeing one. These are wonderful venues to relax before dinner or just to set a spell. Besides the adult beverages you can get sodas at the bars and a glass of water if you find yourself in need.

Boardwalk Bar - Deck 5 Near Aqua Theatre. Here you can get snacks as well as drinks.

4b_boardwalk_bar.jpg

4b_boardwalk_bar_3.jpg

On Air - Deck 5 Royal Promenade-karaoke is the name of the game or watch sporting events on the big screen. And look out for those drink specials...it all goes down in On Air.

4b_disco.jpg

4b_disco_interior.jpg

Trellis Bar Deck 8 Central Park. A nice place to have a drink before going to dinner at Chops or one of the other Deck 8 restaurants or just to take in the sounds of the music in the evening as the live musician serenades you.

Alas, the Viking Crown Lounge is no more. It was changed to suites in the dry dock. Too bad, always great views there.

I know you are right floatn (and I am sad about that :(!).

If you all will bare with me I will finish the bar review as it was when I sailed and then I have a couple of posts about the New Reimagined Ms. Oasis.:D

Also, don't forget the Viking Crown is still available to enjoy on other Royal ships. So we can look forward to that. :p

Oasis Bars continued

Vintages Wine Bar Deck 8 Central Park Specialty Restaurant which also serves tapas...you can enjoy your wine and tapas inside or outside in the garden like setting of Central Park...

Oasis Outdoor Bars

Sky Bar: This is the one that a lot of Roll Calls meet at for Sailaway. I call it the cute little one way up on the top deck. Just go to the main pool and go one deck up. Lots of good people hang out here. The atmosphere around this bar is always "Party, Party, and more Party!!!". I have had some great conversations at this one.

4b_sky_bar6.jpg

Pool Bar no need to go far if you decide to hang out by the pool...

4b_pool_bar10.jpg

Sand Bar: again pool side

4b_sand_bar.jpg

Mast BarThe Mast Bar is opposite the Sky Bar starboard side. It is also used at night for singles get together events.

4b_mast_bar3.jpg

Solarium Bar: slow and easy atmosphere here. Great place to relax. I have fallen asleep in this area on many occasions. I wake up feeling refreshed and good to go!

4b_solarium_bar5.jpg

Wipeout Bar : you might miss them one if you're not paying attention so keep your eyes open wide if you are up in the area of the Cafe and looking for some libations. It is located situated between the two FlowRider in the Sports Zone aft of deck 16. You also get uninterrupted views over the stern at this bar.

So what do you all think about this? Didn't really effect me before as I never bought any bottles of wine on board but I might consider it now that this new rule is in place...

Thanks to CC Cruiser Kcjarvis for a wonderful review and pics of the Transatlantic sailing to bring Ms. O back home.

Sabor - The service was slow but the food was excellent. Everyone on the sailing receives 50% off. Sorry for the grainy menu pic.
