Princess Cruise for Solo person

I'm a single person and I only cruise solo. Granted you're going to pay a single supplementof approx. 50-75% of the base fare, but at least you'll have the cabin to yourself. Plus no one to share the bathroom with! This is a major issue with me.:D I loved the Panama Canal!!

Would a cruise with Princess be ok for a Solo person to go on?

Considering the situation? would there be good spots and opportunity to meet other solos on a Princess cruise of the Panama Canal?

I like cruising solo, and have enjoyed Princess cruiises. You meet a lot of people if you mingle where if you are with another person you seem to just talk to each other, but I've found that people once they know you are a solo traveler they seem to want to talk to you more. I prefer the smaller ships now like the Azamara Quest. Also, I certainly love going on Queen Victoria and Mary 2. They really cater for the solo passengers, with coffee mornings, and the Ladies even have a chance in the evenings to dance with the Escorts.

I am a Princess cruiser and have done some of my cruises as a solo. I always have a wonderful time and meet lots of very nice people!!

I'd suggest you sign up for traditional dining and request a table for 6, which will give you an opportunity to meet other passengers and develop friendly relationships over dinner.

Princess has get togethers for singles .... watch the Patter for times and locations. The first one is usually early in the cruise.

If you are comfortable with starting chats with people, you will find it's really easy to get to know some of your fellow cruisers.

Spend time out of your cabin .... go where other people are. Sit in the Piazza and have a cup of coffee or tea. It's a place where people gather. While transiting the Panama Canal, go up on the upper deck ... there'll be lots of others up there watching and taking photos!
