Tomorrow is our last shore excursion day and yet I just became aware of cruisecritic. Is there any tour in Bergen that we three can join in? Many thanks.

I think it's likely too late as shared tours by people on your sailing would e all arranged by now.

Definitely for your next cruise you will find Car to be a wonderful resource.

Ships either dock in the industrial area of the port or "in town" within a short walk of the fish market and local shops. You cannot walk through the industrial port due to safety regulations, but coach transfers to the street are provided and run every few minutes. If that's the case, you can either walk, about 15 minutes into town, or do the HoHo bus that's parked at the street exit, do a round trip and then get off at a place of interest. Easy port to do on your own.

The only ship scheduled for Bergen tomorrow is Crown Princess, who has been on a wonderful 14 day north cape cruise. EM

No excursion necessary in Bergen. The old town is walkable. The base station of the Mount Floyen uphill train is right in Old Town as are the fish market and the tourist information office. If you are interested in Bergen's history, go to the Hanse museum which is also right downtown.

Before your next cruise go to the Roll Call here. You go to your cruise line then the ship then the date of your cruise. People who are on your cruise email each other and sometimes arrange tours together. There is often a Meet & Greet planned the 1st day so everyone can meet each other. Once 12 of us from our Roll Call chartered our own sunset snorkeling cruise in Aruba. We were the only ones on this tour! We took a cab tour in Nassau with another couple from our Roll Call too.You can ask each other questions too.
