Luggage Valet-Celebrity

I saw on the X website that they offer luggage valet. I had a few questions that hopefully someone can answer as the site seemed to have limited info on the service.

Does it apply to international travel? We are going from Rome to Knoxville,TN

We have booked a Concierge Class Cabin, what is the fee for using this service?

If we stay an extra day in Rome can we still use the valet luggage service?

Was it worth it? Pros/Cons....

Have you tried on the Celebrity board? More people with experience will see it.

There has been threads about luggage valet on the Celebrity forum. Many used this service at Florida ports.

Don't know about international flights.

I am interested in this service when we disembark in San Diego. But I have read that you need at least 25 people to sign up for this service, and it is not widely publicized on board. Also not all airlines are part of this serivce .

Don't know if Delta does this?

My problem is that we arrive at 7am and my flight does not leave until 3pm. Seems that at San Diego airport you cannot drop luggage off until three hours before a flight. So even if I am the last to leave the ship , I have alot of time to kill before arriving at airport.

Maybe, I just need to see if I can change to a earlier flight on Delta?

My cruise is not until Decmeber so I have some time to figure all this out.

I posted it in celebrity forum and did a google search but didn't really hear of anything international. I may contact celebrity directly and will update with my findings. Last time I sailed on X I didn't hear about it.

You'd have to call to verify, but it appears this service is available in only a few airports, and most of these are domestic. I don't see where they have it in any European port.

As others have said, check with Celebrity or on the Celebrity board for more definitive answers, but I would doubt if it's available for international flights. And even if it is, I'd really doubt that it's available if you're staying an extra day, as they'd have to store your luggage overnight.
