Luggage with hang up bag

Is this bag inside a piece of luggage or separate? Is it something like those bags you get at some better stores when you purchase a suit/nice dress? There are still plenty of garment bags out there for sale... go to Ebags and look at the Wally Bags line and see if this is what you are looking for.

Don't know where you are in Baja, but you could maybe do a day trip/ weekend up to San Diego. Go to the Nordstroms in Fashion Valley and see if you can get one of their zippered garment covers that they give out there with their suits if that is all you want.

Thanks for the responses. I looked at the Tumi luggage and they are very nice but out of my price range.

Slidergirl, I do have the garment bag from Nordstrom's but would love to find a case with a hook in it so I can hang the bag and not just fold it. Also how do you cruise with a small suitcase? I'm impressed.

Find one hanger with a rotating hook and use that as your "hook" for hanging the bag. Then, just pack that garment bag as you want.

It's not difficult to travel anywhere with a small bag for me. I do not feel the need to take more than 2 pair of shoes (add a pair of boots if the weather dictates), do not need multiple outfits per day, I am fine re-wearing clothes. Everything I take will work with everything. I take clothes that wear well and many items easy to hand wash and hang as part of my nightly bathroom routing. My LBD will get me anywhere, anytime. I have a very simple makeup routine in my daily life (moisturizer, eyeliner, shadow if going somewhere), so I don't have to take a bunch of cosmetics with me. I've done this for years now and I have never felt as if I was missing something. If I really, truly, need something I did not pack, there are these wonderful places around the world called stores ;)

Have no idea what she means by a built in "garment bag".

My old eagle creek called it a "suiter" - was basically a garment bag that hooked into the top of the suitcase. Hence - built-in garment bag:D

Anyway, none of my current bags have it, but try using "Suiter" as a search term on ebags or another luggage site and see what you can find. I personally never used it when I had it - just carefully rolled or folded my items and hung/aired/steamed in the bath upon arrival and was fine.

(example of a briggs & riley suiter attached)
