Jet ski rental - Key West or Cozumel

Does anyone know if there are jet ski's available to rent and ride in Key West, close to the port. (Other than excursions). Also going to Paradise Beach in Cozumel and wondering if there would be an opportunity to rent one there?

There are jet ski rentals right at the cruise pier at Key West, a few different vendors...

I don't believe jet skis are available at Paradise Beach, but they are at Mr Sanchos next door.

This is true if the ship is at Pier B (Westin Dock). Plus, the jet-skis are a guided tour, not rented on your own.

They are right at the end of Duval Street at the Ocean Key Resort, but the question is where are you going to go once you rent one?
