poke315 Posted April 19, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2016 When using room service, is it customary to tip the server, or is covered in the daily gratuity? Thanks!
CruiserBruce Posted April 19, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2016 It might vary by cruise line, so asking on the board for the cruise line involved would be recommended. But every cruise line I have been on, we typically tip for room service, regardless of the employee being included in the daily gratuity.
cb at sea Posted April 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Room service is only covered on Princess....all other lines, tip at time of service!
Surfguyxxx Posted June 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2016 A few buck here and there go a long way with the cruise ship employees. Believe me, they talk to each other and that $3 buck tip you left for the room service person will entice them to look for you the next time your room cabin comes up. Bartenders too are a wise investment ;)
Cruisin'Christine Posted June 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted June 17, 2016 I typically tip $1-3 for room service, depending on how much was ordered.
