Dinner ?

Any recommendations for restaurant for a nice dinner? Not looking for 5 star or "formal". We will be coming off of a sunset sail so will be dressed in "sundress" for the ladies and shorts for the gents.

There are lots of choices. We like the Avila Hotel. See website.

There are several restaurants across the "floating bridge" behind the Plaza Hotel in the Arches - we ate at Scampi - waterfront and the food was amazing.

Any additional dinner suggestions? We dined at Rozendaels and it was fabulous. However, the next time we are in Curacao we aren't there as late in the evening so will need an early dinner so would prefer to be closer to the ship (walking distance).

Any suggestions for "upscale" "casual" "walking distance" restaurants.

There is a restaurant called Anchor in the Rif Fort that is reasonably priced but I am not sure of their hours.

Jan...Good to "hear" from you also! Hope y'all are doing well!

Nope...we ended up doing WJ. We were on AD with the new Flowrider so Mr Ski was addicted to it. If it was open, we were onboard and hanging out at the FR....he was on it or in line. I was "spectator extraordinaire".:) By the time he was done there for the afternoon/evening we did not have time to go back off. So we did not get to dine anywhere off the ship in Curacao this time. However, if you have time for the taxi... Rozendaels was fabulous when were there the time before. (Prob about a 15 minute ride after dinner...before could take longer depending on the traffic.) (We were inport until 11:00 the time before but only 8:00 this time.)
