Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier?

They are both worth seeing and I have been to both of them. You might see more calving in Hubbard Glacier if the Ice is not too great. I was there once and the ice was so thick you could not get close. Overall, I really prefer Glacier Bay.

We have been twice -once round trip from Seattle--saw eagles. live salmon in stream at fish bake, maybe tail of a whale. Second time-Land tour starting in Fairbanks: train to Denali--goats on hills, Denali--moose and WOLVES, Bus to Seward--nada but a lot at a stop at Animal Rehabilitation Center--including a stinky bear and musk ox! Good luck!

 

Funny thing: At rehab our bus slowed and our driver started yelling at a man who was giving the bear hotdogs!!! We joined in. He turned and it was a park ranger!!

Why?
Obviously because of the new CC article. Unlike some old threads, in this one the original comments are not outdated, and still valid. Why start a new thread and have them repeated?
