Macklovin38 Posted August 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Just got excited because I (out of nowhere) remembered how delicious the chips and salsa is at the grill. One more thing to add to my list of things to look forward to! :)
misstopgun Posted August 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Just got excited because I (out of nowhere) remembered how delicious the chips and salsa is at the grill. One more thing to add to my list of things to look forward to! :) I hope I had something to do with that. Well, not just me but many others making the same comment. Back when they issued comment cards, on every cruise I took for over 4 years, I would comment that they needed to offer salsa on the salad and breakfast bar. I always eat salsa with eggs and know that this is a common practice. I just couldn't believe that there was never any salsa to be seen. Salsa is less expensive than jams, syrups, and peanut butter, all items on the breakfast buffet. Imagine my happiness the first cruise I took that had salsa. I know it had to be several people making the request, but for once I felt that my opinion had accounted for something through the comment card. 4hunters Posted August 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2012 LOL! Yeah, that's a pretty random thought, but I do know what you mean. Myself, I can't wait until that first late-night BLT from room service! ;)

Looks like I am going to have to try it. I hope yours is everything you hoped it would be! Order 2. Put the bacon on one when you get it. I do that to most of the sandwiches. The salads from room service are good too. The chips are not so good. The shrimp salad is yummy. Too bad I have to wait for 24 more days!

skippyy Posted August 22, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 22, 2012 My wife, whatsername, had me convinced the "salsa" was a dance. Had me taking lessons for 2 years. Now I learn it's food. Better late than never. Fortunately, I already know how to chew !

skippyy Posted August 22, 2012 #11 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Hmmmm, as an afterthought, can anyone confirm: bosa nova, tango and waltz are dances and not foods ?

CourtneyLovesCruising Posted August 22, 2012 #13 Share Posted August 22, 2012 Can I get chips and salsa delivered through room service? Today's happy thought could be room service to my 4J and then having a picnic on the secret deck with my hubby ::swooon::

waykaylincruz Posted August 23, 2012 #17 Share Posted August 23, 2012 When I was on the Dream back in May, I must have missed the chips and salsa from the grill. However, I was NOT happy that they didn't have chicken fingers there though. I don't understand why they don't have them on all ships:(. I sure hope the Legend has chicken fingers at the grill. Will definitely get the chips and salsa!! One thing I did enjoy was the chips and salsa on the BBQ on the Lanai while on the Dream. I hope they are the same as the ones at the grill.
