Virgin Atlantic Questions - Need some quick help

Need some quick help. I've found some pretty nicely priced flights on Virgin Atlantic for the fall. I've never flown on them...just Delta, BA, and Lufthansa for overseas flights. Don't know much about Virgin Atlantic. Pro's, con's? We are flying into London and out of Paris for our trip. Thanks

Airlines are more alike than different in Economy. You can check out your aircraft on seatguru.com. If the price and routing suit you, I wouldn't hesitate to book.

I just booked with them from Miami non stop to London great price 1 free luggage and carry on but you have to pay for a seat or wait till 48 hours before $35

We've flown Virgin. If you're doing long haul we'd recommend upgrading to Premium Economy, key perks are the dedicated check-in and the security fast track through departures. You can also select your seats FOC, as soon as the option becomes available on-line, all the features/perks are listed on their website.

If you are a member of Delta's FF program I'd look and see if the price is avail by booking through Delta. (Delta owns about 49% of Virgin Atlantic) That way you can get the miles. (and maybe even close to elite status)

Personally I prefer Virgin to BA, especially their PE cabin.

Well we booked it- couldn't resist. Yes we paid for our seats - paid a tiny bit extra for coach seats with a bit extra leg room. Seatguru helped in that regard.

Glad to read you booked it. Was just about to respond with "make sure you get the extra legroom seats in Economy".

We are fortunate that we are travelling Upper Class next month (by using airmiles). What a great way to fly and has a great little bar onboard as well!

Not sure if you will get to use the Virgin Lounge at Heathrow, but if you do you will not be disappointed. It is the best airport lounge anywhere in the world!!!
