canadian85 Posted July 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Looking at 7 Day Carnival Glory Dec 30th on Carnival website. The price for 2 adults is 679 +tax. And the 3rd person (4yo) is 719+tax, 4th person (2yo) is 459+tax. Why is the 4yo more expensive than the first 2 passengers? Is that normal? I doubt I'll find a "kids sail free" sale for new years, but i didn't think I'd have to pay full price or more for the kids...
Rare Keith1010 Posted July 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Not sure why. I would post this on the Carnival Cruise Line Board. Keith

canadian85 Posted July 12, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Just checking prices to see if we can afford, but hopefully will make it to TA soon.
cb at sea Posted July 12, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 12, 2012 Well, that breaks it down to $589 + tax per person for the 3rd and 4th occupant...still less than $679 (unless that was the total price for 2, and not the "per person" rate) If the 1st 2 people were $340 pp, then book 2 cabins!!!! That would be a great rate!
cruiseco Posted July 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 12, 2012 It happens occasionally, just a matter of how the pricing is entered into the res computer. Perhaps they decided to drop the 1st/2nd passenger rate from $899 and just forgot to adjust the 3rd/4th passenger rate accordingly. It is, however, a valid rate and if you call the cruise line they will not make any adjustment for you. Eventually some adjustment will be made -- either lowering the 3rd/4th passenger rate or again raising the 1st/2nd passenger rate higher.
