hotel and parking

Many hotels offer park and cruise rates but if there was a hotel that offered FREE parking for 14 days they would need a 2000 car lot! Suggest you look around and call a few hotels and ask them if they have a park and fly rate - usually 1 night on that rate includes 7 days of parking thus you would need to stay there 2 nights.

Also take a look at ports and parking for FLL am sure it is discussed there.

Google is your friend. Google something like "cruise and park" or even "hotel fly park" and various websites that specialize in one night hotel stays with "free" parking will come up. Pick one, then go down their list for FLL and select and book a hotel that fits your needs. We have a 12 nite trip in Dec. and recently booked a stay in December at a hotel in FLL that offers up to 14 days free parking as part of the package. They will shuttle us to the ship (small extra charge).

We are driving to Fort Lauderdale in Dec. and would like to spend the night before the cruise at a hotel that offers 14 day free parking. Does anyone have ANY suggestions? Many thanks :)

Check out parksleepfly.com and stay123.com booking sites featuring parking/cruising. Many hotels near 'Blue Lagoon' area outside FLL airport have parking deals.

Little known fact that booking thru 3rd party vendor instead of direct with hotelier puts some risk of being 'walked' if oversold.

Even if hotel on web shows full, these booking agencies may have some allotment to offer. Good Luck

Don't look for Blue Lagoon when flying into FLL since Blue Lagoon is outside Miami Airport!

Many hotels charge $7 to $10 a day for parking, few no charge. Some have shuttle one way to port, some both ways. On line prices are higher that quoted by hotel staff. I got the Rodeway with parking and 2 way shuttle for $139 the day after Thanksgiving. It's 1.5 miles to port.

Embassy wants over $200 for the room, $7 a day to park, shuttle one way for $8. They're right next to port.

I hope you have read the reviews of Rodeway on this Board - that $61 covers a world of difference between the Embassy Suites and Rodeway.
