HI all!

Belle ~ nicely presented info there, thanks.

shootr ~ thanks for the photo permission & link. The bathroom is looking good, love those sinks.

missy1122 ~ that's a good sign, your clothes fitting better.

As I expected no loss for me this week but I didn't think the gain would be so much, 1 lb.:o

Oh well, there's always next week!

Hello,

Belle, nice poem. My thoughts are with you. Hugs to you......

I lost another pound. New low for me that I haven't been in years.

Jo and Missy, good loss and room in clothes is a great thing!

Wishing everyone a good week.

Maybe I should stick to construction (NOT!) Managed to lose 4lbs and am down to 194 this morning.

Still a challenge to maintain good eating but so far so good, and every night I'm doing something active and that has helped a lot.

Traveling today so I get the night off and will just take a walk after dinner. Salads are my savior on the road-without the dressing just about any one anywhere are acceptable calorie wise.

Thanks for the great thread starter Belle, you're in my prayers.

Back into the pit, but needed a break so figured I'd check in. Good luck everyone.

Belle, thanks for the poem. I hope that you are well.

shootr, diana, missy and cruises, good losses. Congrats.

Jo, I feel your pain. That has been me most of the time.

This week I lost .8 lbs.

Missus works tonight so no progress on the bathroom, but yesterday was a looooooong day demolishing the shower, replumbing a new valve, and re-doing the sheetrock:

Then went and picked up 600lbs of slate to put on the walls...got to haul them upstairs tonight and apply the waterproofing to the drywall. It's going to have a "castle wall random pattern" kind of feel.

Still doing great on eating - 1500/1800 calories per day plus all the "exercise". This sitting around is killing me, I finished all my chores, did some shopping at Ikea to get some doodads, and now I'm trying not think about snacking.:(

Coated the walls with waterproofing - trying to talk the missus into going blood red instead of slate...

Found some kind of grain/rice/quinoa thing at Costco - 200 calories a serving but different and kind of tasty. Also some thin wheat sandwich rounds - when combined with ham and grey mustard only winds up being 165 calories for a sandwich. Still grilling lots of chicken too and resisting the snacks - handfuls of raisins or mini pretzels once in a while. Approx. 65 calories per handful so it doesn't blow the daily count.

Hope everyone had a good weekend - enjoy your low temps - we're looking at day 3 of record high temps...

Your home improvement looks good,

I´ve not been on the scale this last week.

Finally got the metal removed from my ankle that had to be put in there 20 month ago due to a bad break.

Lying around, having pain and snacking was a bad combination.

I hope to get back on track soon.

Still having problems to stay away from coke and sweets,

the only thing that helps is walking, but it will take some more time before I´m back to walking 7km or more...

I can't break the soda habit either. Best I can do is get one in the morning, put it in the company refrigerator, and take a pull off it all through the day.

Older I get, more the injuries tick me off. Hang tough and you'll get there. Nothing you can do until the "stars align" in your world.
