Jimsgirl Posted September 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Going Ft Myers to San Francisco on Continential through flight in two weeks.the flight leaves at 6.45a.m Eastern time and arrives at 11.20a.m San francisco times which is a flight of approx 8 hours (not to mention being at airport 2 hurs before take off). Since this is a through and long flight I was wondering if the "no meal rule" still applies - if if they feed me will it just be a very poor "saw dustbread " sandwich? Thank you
paul929207 Posted September 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2006 My guess is that Continental will look it as two flights as far as meals are concerned. Ft. Myers to Houston & Houston to SF. Best bet is to call them and see what if anything they will feed you. They certainly will NOT look at it as an 8 hour flight. Paul
Rare FlyerTalker Posted September 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2006 Continental's electronic timetable shows a "snack" served in coach on both legs of the flight - RSW/IAH and IAH/SFO. However, since they use the word "Breakfast" for the first class meal on each leg, I'd think there is a difference that you should consider. As for what the "snack" would be.....???
