Does anyone have any information about the new P&O ship to be named Britannia ? Due to be ready spring 2015 ?

Have a look at Royal Princess or Regal Princess in the current Princess Cruises brochures - Brittania will be very similar to those ships. The hull and overall arrangements will be the same; same number of decks, same cabins, and so on. The decor will be different, and the lounges and bars will have different names and be differently targeted, but the ship itself will be a sister to Royal Princess.

In other words it will be exactly the same only different :)

The main difference is that apparently Brittania will have a Crows Nest. It will of course have less choice in the buffet and the P&O traditionalists will hate it ;)

Not as I understand it.

Unlike the Grand ships and Azura etc. which were copies the interior will have more changes. They do not have to follow the Princess floor plan.

Whatever that means.

We were told last month on Aurora that they would not simply copy the Princess design.

According to the video and grapevine its got a pool at the back, hopefully they will put a central staircase in and not have the same soot issue that is currently affecting some of the Royal rear suites. Not sure if 2 stacks will help that one though.
