Snorkeling question

We took a $5 cab ride to the Boatyard (same fare gets you to Harbor lights or many other beach clubs lined up); a vendor will offer you a snorkel/turtle tour for $20 - snorkel over a wreck (great), and at another stop swim with the turtles (even better), along with a cup of rum punch that is more rum than punch. Most of the snorkel tour boats charge more and pull into the same area.

Best snorkeling of our recent cruise was Coki Beach on St. Thomas. Good luck!

Barbados is a MUCH better place to snorkel with the turtles than St. Maarten.

Booking a 4 or 5 hour sailing catamaran excursion (either with the ship or a private vendor) that takes you out to snorkel with the turtles and also has a beach stop is a great way to spend your day in Barbados. :)

Agreed, was just in Barbados on our cruise a couple of weeks ago and went with Calabaza Sailing Cruises. They picked us up at the port and took us to their CAT. First up, snorkeling with the turtles. Then onto snorkeling over wrecks, both were excellent. After snorkeling we sailed up the coast a bit and then anchored while a buffet lunch was served. Gina was great with email questions and booking, crew on the boat was great! They are also rated #1 on Trip Advisor for things to do on Barbados. They do book up fast and limit the number of people on their boats (they have two), each limited to 12 people.

Is Boatyard the name of the beach? And how many people will be on the snorkel tour? Are there loungers to rent at the beach? Would be appreciate for your help :)
