Going on the Serenade of the Seas soon -:)

Looking for some advise re where to find info about the following ports - I've found AP tours for Amalfi coast but does anyone know of any other private tours in the areas below?

We are going to Venice for the first time and obviously there is so much to see - where do we start?? There are so many ship tours I don't know what to plump for. Thank you in advance.....

I second getting a copy of Rick Steves' Mediterranean Cruise Ports. He tells you what there is to see in each port, and how much of it you can do in the time you have. He does not cover Sicily or Kotor, but recommends Lonely Planet for those areas. Kotor is easy to do on your own on foot. On Rick Steves' website, he has free audio tours with maps to download to ipod/mp3. Lots of spots in Rome, Pompeii, Venice...EM
