hot rocks dress code

Is the dress code for "hot rocks" dinner by the pool always casual or is the dress code the same as in the dining room ? Thanks.

The dress code is the dress code of the day. The venue itself is casual. Men usually remove their jackets when they get there.

...and given all the smoke coming off the hot stones be prepared to put your clothes into the laundry/dry-cleaning afterwards! :p

And be careful of your sleeve choice - I once went to Hot Rocks wearing a top with butterfly sleeves - they give you a big bib for all the hot fat splattering around but my sleeves flowed around the edges of the bib. Had to thoroughly wash that top afterwards.

I wouldn't wear something precious or non-washable to Hot Rocks.

I got splattered too. Definitely need to wear washable clothing. Hot Rocks is not my favorite for this very reason.

Nor ours but for a different reason - we don't want to go on holiday and do our own cooking.;)

The 'cooking' is hardly arduous! I love Hot Rocks, it's a lot of relaxed fun with good company, it's just important to dress for it.
