Black Bay Beach....current info sought

I had read some time ago that someone was renting hammocks, selling some food at Black Bay Beach near the Dockyard.

Anyone have any current info on the development or lack of?

Going to Black Bay Beach two years ago was such a wonderful and relaxing day for my family.

Have there been many changes from two years ago?

Yes, please! I would love to know current info about black bay beach. I'm thinking about this for our last day in port, as it's fairly close to dockyard.

None has reported going there yet this year. I would take a default view that there are not hammocks or food unless someone reports otherwise. Keep in mind that for Bermudians the beach season began a few days ago and the for cruise passengers the cruise season a few weeks ago so trip reports from this year are still sparse.

Hi. Can anyone please tell me if Black Bay Beach is now "open" with chair rentals?

It was one of our favorite days two years ago and I still have the picture in my family room from that day on the beach.

Frustrating that no one responded. Please report back should you go....

We arrived home Friday, August 19th.

There were no rentals and no activity at Black Bay when we passed by a couple of times Sunday 8/14 - Tuesday 8/16 on the NCL Dawn.
