Heathrow hotel

Any suggestions for a Heathrow hotel. Will arrive early morning...want to go to a hotel and then taxi to Windsor Castle, then the next day take a private transfer from the hotel to our cruise from Southampton via Stonehenge....thanks

Which terminal are you arriving at?

My favourite is Sofitel at Terminal 5. Expensive, but usually manage to get it at a discount.:)

Heathrow hotels are expensive. You'd probably save money by staying in/near Windsor. I'm sure someone with more local knowledge will be along soon.:)

In 2013 we stayed at the Sheraton Heathrow. The price was amazing compared to other four star hotels near the airport. The hotel turned out to be somewhat old, but still well maintained, with great service and amenities. Not sure what the rates are today, but they may still be a great deal.

Another vote for Sofitel @ T5 or Hilton @ T4 - on the Airport, attached to the Terminals. Or offsite, consider the Club Floor @ Sheraton Skyline with included evening drinks and nibbles, plus a breakfast.

Would support the idea of transferring to Windsor area in view of your excursions, no need to stay in the airport vicinity. Oakley court Windsor, is a good suggestion or Ascot hotels. Then its a simple hop to Windsor and on the way to Southampton/Stonehenge.
