Serenade of the Seas-obstructed balcony

My husband and myself, as well as his two brothers and their wives have booked a cruise for this coming January on Serenade of the Seas. We were not told that the 3 staterooms we booked have obstructed balconies, we found out after booking on deckplans.com. We have tried to change staterooms, but the cruise is sold out. Has anyone stayed in #8162 or one of the 8th floor balcony staterooms, and how bad is the obstruction? We've been told that it is a 70% obstruction for 2 of the staterooms and 20% obstruction for the other. Pictures? Thanks

There is a window washing rig near the back of the ship that obstructs a few balconies and is sounds like yours is one of them. If you Google image search "serenade of the seas obstructed balcony" you'll see it. While I'd prefer to have another balcony, in truth, it doesn't look that bad. It doesn't obstruct your view...it's just a bit of an eyesore.
