We want to take a catamaran trip but should we do it in St. Maarten, St. kitts, or San Juan. Blue Water and Leeward in St. kitts do not have availability. Trying to book independently and not with the cruise ship. Suggestions??? Opinions???

We have been looking at tours in St Maarten. Have not gone yet, but there are quite a few operators. We're looking at Golden Eagle

We did Lord Sheffield in St. Maarten - I think it is a schooner - very fun, small group (not overcrowded like the cruise ship ones). We sent back a second time and it was even better!

My BIL had a picture of the Lord Sheffield from his recent trip to St. Maarten post Hurricane Gonzolo and sadly the schooner was pretty much destroyed in the hurricane.
