Azamara St Petersberg

Hi, I am booked on a Baltic Cruise next August and we are on Azamara Quest. Can anyone confirm if the ship berths in the main cruise terminal or if it goes further up river and uses on of the smaller berths close to the city centre reserved for smaller ships.

This past July we were docked as close to city center as a ship can go without tearing down a bridge.

we weere next to the bridge. you walk off and right next to a store and some navel ships.

We were on the Journey a few years ago in St. Petersburg and docked on the Neva River almost across from the Hermitage. Spectacular. We were also there for White Nights!

I believe we do.

It doesn't have to be a ship's tour, but it should be with an authorised tour guide/company. We hired a driver who took us to the sights we wanted to see.

We did a Baltic and St Petersburg itinerary with Princess this summer and used SPB Tours. We had a group of eight of us who booked a private tour together. Otherwise, I believe you could join a group of sixteen. Excellent 2-day tour.
