We have two cruises next year, one in May and one in June.

In May, our cruise ends in San Francisco and we need a one way flight to Vancouver, Canada. The price on Air Canada SFO-YVR is $297.00 pp flex fare, though tango fare is $269+ $15 to select seat.

In June we need to fly to San Francisco to start the cruise. Also Air Canada YVR-SFO is $$290 flex fare and tango is $267+$15. These are all Canadian dollar prices.

The prices on these flights is about the same since July, a few dollars more now. It looks like there are still lots of available seats on both. Unsure if we should book now or wait a little longer.

Thank you everyone for your insight.

I guess I don't understand why you don't buy a round trip ticket SFO-YVR-SFO. For most days in May, with a return in June, I'm seeing ~US$350 round trip using Westjet.

Thank you Gardyloo, I did not think to check Westjet. The last time I looked for round trip on A.C. ,it was around $600.00 US$ and with the exchange rate it actually cost more in CA$ doing the round trip than the one way tickets.

The price could go up or the price could go down and there is no way to accurately predict what it will do, when it will do it, or how much any change might be. Book when you see a price you can live with.
