Riviera. Best veranda staterooms and which to avoid

We are considering doing our first Oceania and about to book. Looking at B4 on deck 7 aft near elevators, but appears the lifeboats will hinder views? Is that correct?

Also looks like B3 cabins on deck 7 aft have deeper balconies. Are these good or should they be avoided? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Welcome to the Oceania Board!

This subject has been discussed to death, and a search will reveal everything that you have asked and more, but I wanted to jump in here to remind you that Oceania operates two distinctly different classes of Ships,

Oceania%20Three%20Ships.jpg

The R Class:

and the O Class

Although similar in some ways, there are huge differences in size and the O Class is several decades newer.

I guess that what I am saying is -you MUST specify your ship!

Hope this helped, enjoy your cruise, whatever you decide!

The lifeboats kind of tuck under deck 7 & the B4 & C cat cabins you might see a davit when the lifeboat is deployed

The extended balconies on deck 7 some people like them other do not

You will find other than the end one they have like a tunnel vision to some people

Thanks. That is exactly what we were looking for. We spend lots of time on the balcony, so the extended space would be valuable to us.
