TW6cruiser Posted June 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2016 I've also posted this question on the Princess Board. On our fall Canada/New England cruise we stop in Boston for a day. We plan to meet family who live in Boston and be tourists with them in the city. Does anyone know if Princess offers a shuttle into downtown Boston and if so where does it drop off/pick up? Thanks to anyone who has any information.
smslms Posted June 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 12, 2016 In the past there have been occasions, depending on what excursions are being offered, that Princess has operated a shuttle. The drop off/pick up point has been around Quincy Market. Can't say with any certainty whether that will be the case this year.

138east Posted May 4, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2017 any update on whether Princess runs a shuttle? Where do you want to go? For two people a cab to and from Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall is about $12 each way, about the cost of any cruiseline shuttle.
CanICruiseSoonPlease Posted May 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 15, 2017 Yes, last year Princess did sell a shuttle ticket to Quincy Market area. The shuttle was right outside where the ship docks. They did not sell the shuttle tickets on the shore excursions section on Princess.com but did sell it on the ship. It was under $20 RT, but cant be exact of the price. It was cheaper than what an independent company was selling it in the Boston terminal where we dock.
Traveling Library Posted May 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2017 The SilverLine (a bus) leaves right outside the cruise port and will take you to South Station. From South Station you can either walk up the Rose Kennedy Greenway, along the harbor, to the North End (Italian district) or you can transfer to the Red Line (subway) to Park Street Station (downtown and easy access to Freedom Trail and lot of sights). Depends on where your friends want to meet up but the T fare is well under $5 per person. Probably more like $2.25 pp each way. The T has a very nice website http://www.mbta.com
