Thank you for the response, I guess I'm really interested in how long it takes to travel by taxi. I don't really have that great of a concept of km either since I am American, sorry about our goofy metric system not being part of the standard.

The distance is just a tad under 5 miles and the drive takes approximately 21 minutes.

Has anyone else gone to this Sandals? It looks beautiful and I called for day-visit pricing and it was pretty comparable.

The time it will take you to get there depends on the time of day and traffic.

It is on the south coast of the island in the area of St. Lawrence in Christ Church.

What's the best way to contact Sandals for a day pass?

The day pass in Barbados is $125/person from 10am-6pm. You can get one at the reservation desk. Or contact Sandals. We are also considering a day pass. Let us know how the experience is.

Easy formula for the rest of the world (we're basically the only country that uses miles anymore): Multiply number by 6 and drop off the last number of the answer. 8 kilometers times 6 equals 48 equals about 5 miles.
