This is our first trip to this region and we love to snorkel. But before I book an excursion, I want to know if the water will be too cold to snorkel in Mid January.

Also where are the best snorkel sites?

And should I book them through the cruiselinerooms or what are your recommendations?

Take a look at a map...on a clear day, you can probably see South America.

Cold is just not going to happen. Ever.

Take a private snorkel, several good recommendations just a bit down this page. Or you can take the water taxi to Klein Bonaire and go on your own to save money. It all depends on whar you want.

Beware of sunburn. I got the water taxi to na name beach and snorkeled for a couple of hours, best snorkeling ever. Early January, suffered really bad sunburn on my back even having used waterproof sun cream. Was in agony for 4 days. Now I always wear a t shirt when snorkeling
